Ayubowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka, one of the world's top romantic destinations. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB Airport, you will be greeted by your tour leader and transferred to your hotel. Your first destination is Bentota, a coastal town known for its golden sandy beaches, delicious cuisine, and lively entertainment.
There are no planned activities for the day, giving you the freedom to relax and adjust to your surroundings. If your flight arrives early, enjoy some leisure time on the beach or by the pool at your cozy hotel. In the evening, take a romantic stroll along the beach, enjoying the beautiful sunset and the calming atmosphere of the coastline.

After a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or coffee, your tour leader will take you on a scenic drive along the southwest coast to Galle, a charming city famous for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed Galle Fort. Known for its blend of Dutch and British colonial architecture amidst a tropical setting, Galle offers a unique atmosphere. Stroll through the historic streets, listen to the sounds of creaking wooden saloon doors, and witness how European architecture has merged with South Asian traditions. Don’t miss the iconic Galle Lighthouse, located at the southeast tip of the fort.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat tour along the Madu River, where you’ll have the chance to experience fish foot therapy. Afterward, visit a turtle hatchery center, where you can see baby turtles learning to swim for the first time and observe efforts to rehabilitate injured turtles for release back into the wild. Local and international volunteers are working hard to protect these endangered creatures.

On the way, you’ll visit the Millennium Elephant Rehabilitation Center, a sanctuary dedicated to protecting and caring for wild elephants that wander the forests of Sri Lanka. Enjoy the unique experience of feeding and bathing these gentle giants at the nearby river.
Afterward, continue your journey to Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese Kingdom, situated on a plateau surrounded by lush mountains, tea plantations, and biodiverse rainforests. Kandy is renowned for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Following the temple visit, you will enjoy a delightful Cultural Village Tour. This immersive experience starts with a Bullock Cart Ride, an ancient mode of transport still in use in some rural areas. In the afternoon, your tour leader will take you to Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park for an exciting Jeep Safari. This national park is renowned for its incredible wildlife, especially the wild elephants that gather in large numbers. The park spans 8,800 hectares and is also home to various species such as deer, wild boars, and colorful birds. Watching the baby elephants play in the water near the park’s main lake is always a highlight. Minneriya/Kaudulla is famous for the world's largest gathering of elephants.
